The All-Inclusive Newborn Petite Experience

Leah Islinger Photography now offers an All-Inclusive Newborn Petite Experience. I understand that not everyone wants or needs a full newborn session but may still want a few images of their newborn baby to remember all of their tiny details. So let me tell you all about them!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The regular, Full Newborn Experience requires a $100 session fee retainer that is paid upfront when you schedule the session. Then once the session is completed & edited you choose one of my three package Collections. The Collections start at $550 on upwards and they all include different numbers of digital files and/or products.

The Newborn Petite Experience is one of a few new all-inclusive session I offer. You can also schedule a Petite Experience for maternity, 6 months, 1 year and in studio. The total price is $450 and that is paid upfront when you schedule. If at any point you decide you'd like the full session instead we can certainly do an upgrade, but this would need to be decided before the session date so I can plan properly for more time :)

WHAT DOES THE $450 INCLUDE?

Once the session is completed & edited you will receive your gallery & password where you will then choose your included 5 high-resolution digital images from the final images I present to you. These digital images come with a print release so you can print your images as you wish.

HOW LONG IS THE SESSION AND WHO CAN BE INCLUDED?

This session is up to 1 hour long and includes your newborn only....no parent or sibling poses. If you want to include parents or siblings you will need to schedule The Full Newborn Experience as we would need more time.

WHAT TYPES OF POSES ARE INCLUDED?

This session will consist of wrapped-only poses with simple props, chosen by the photographer. 4 sets/4 props will be used with varied wrapping techniques. Mainly these will be baskets, bowls, a little bed, or a bucket. No elaborate/hard-to-pose-in props or themed setups will be used - such as the swing, princess carriage, yellow moon, truck or buggy, etc....

Depending on whether or not baby is asleep (more on that in a bit) I may be able to get a simple pose or two on the blankets/table.

WILL I GET ALL OF THE CUTE SLEEPY POSES WITH OUTFITS?

Because of the shorter time limit, I will not spend great amounts of time lulling your baby into a deep sleep or changing them into little outfits. We can most definitely add hats and headbands! I will still ask for you to bring them sleepy and well fed but I will start by wrapping/swaddling your baby and getting right into your session. Baby may be awake for some, or all of their session poses and if they do not doze off, they may need to be wrapped/swaddled for the entirety of their session as well. This all depends on the baby.

If you are looking for the poses that include little outfits and the unwrapped, naked, curled up, sleepy baby poses then the petite may not be a good fit for you & you would want to schedule the regular newborn session that allows for more time.

HOW OLD SHOULD MY BABY BE?

Preferably your baby should be 12-17 days old, although a bit older is no problem. Please be aware though that the older babies get the more awake & wiggly they become :)

WHERE DOES THE SESSION TAKE PLACE?

The session takes place in my Little Chute Studio! I will have everything ready to go once you arrive and you can of course let me know any color preferences and I will be sure to use those colors for your wraps and accessories :)
