Aria was the absolute sweetest little thing! I could have spent an entire day with her! And her name is precious too - just look at her sweet smile :)

It is always such fun having little girls in the studio because I love the little headbands and girly accessories. I finally had the chance to use the sweet little butterfly backdrop my lovely friend gifted me as a 'congratulations on your new studio' present. It did not disappoint!

Ever since opening the studio, I have made it my mission to perfect the froggy pose. I never attempted that pose very often when I was a traveling photographer. It usually takes time to get the baby into position and when I was traveling, I did my best to condense my time while in my clients' homes. Setting up and taking everything down again after the session was a little time-consuming and I hated feeling like I was there for too long, so I typically skipped over this pose. Now that I am in the studio everything is ready to go as soon as you arrive with your baby so there is no more wasted session time setting up and breaking down again. Therefore, I have more time to perfect poses and to take time on the more difficult ones. Not all babies will do this pose, but I always give it a try. I can usually tell whether or not they will let me pretty quickly into my attempts.....sometimes if baby is resisting, I will move onto a different pose first and then they'll be ready by my second attempt. It is all about going with the flow and doing what your baby is comfortable with. Even without the froggy pose, there are plenty of other gorgeous poses for your baby and your gallery will always be beautiful!
