Precious Quinn was the first ever newborn in the brand new Leah Islinger Photography Studio! She was as sweet as can be, the perfect little model I might add.

We started her session off with poses with her mommy & daddy and she was simply stunning! I love using the simple newborn tanks that I offer in my studio closet.....paired with a dainty little headband and she was all 'dressed up'. 

Her daddy brought along his guitar and of course I had to plop her on top and take some photos of them together because never again will she be tiny enough to lie on top of her daddy's guitar.   

** rest assured I did not indeed 'plop' her on top - I placed her gently and used a professional photographer friend to spot her at all times ** 

Quinn's parents requested a few more traditionally 'hard to pose with' props so I invited my photographer friend to come assist me with these props so that baby Quinn was properly spotted at all times. Having a colleague there who knows how these props are best used is super helpful and really makes the posing go by so much quicker! We breezed right thru the dream catcher, swing and little hammock props.

The dream catcher was placed on a stool where baby Quinn was spotted at all times while her daddy held up the stick. After I took the photo of Quinn in the prop, we removed her and her daddy held up the dreamcatcher so I could get a clear shot of the bottom and then I merged those images together in photoshop.

After the hard stuff was over, we moved onto the table where we accomplished poses with three different blankets and then the finale with her all wrapped up in the fluffy fur with a little lamb lovie to snuggle with. 

A few of these images now hang in my studio and I cannot wait to add more of my clients to my walls in the future!
