I don't know where to even begin finding the right words to express my thoughts and feelings on this extremely special maternity session. Kate was a client of mine years ago when I photographed her first newborn baby girl, Mattie. Kate and her children have endured much tragedy in their lives and such loss, which is not my story to tell, but this mama.....she is STRONG and she is FIERCE and she is delivering into this world another special daughter.....TODAY! So what better day than today to share the images from her maternity session?!

Kate wore two of my gowns for her session - a gorgeous blue-spruce colored gown with an empire waist & a faux fur shawl to add a little pop to the winter snow. I also ordered the gorgeous rainbow gown to use for this maternity session, for her rainbow baby Everly Lynn, and Kate was brave enough to wear it out in the chilly snow. She told me it was so worth it and I believe these images speak quite loudly to the world. I just know, her two gorgeous baby girls were shining down from the Heavens this day, proud of their mama & ready to watch over their baby sister. 

Enjoy these powerful images of one of the most beautiful women and mothers I know. Oh, and I have not forgotten Everly's daddy.....I have only met him this one time but I look forward to getting to know him better at their newborn session. He was funny & kind and I can just tell he has such a joyful personality and is going to be a great dad! Can we all say that we think maybe baby Everly will have some gorgeous red hair???
