The Petite Senior Experience

This session includes the senior only, along with the choice of 1 outdoor location, 1-2 outfit changes, and up to 1 hour of session time.

This session has a session balance that will be due upon delivery of your final gallery.

The session balance includes 15 final high-resolution digital images that will be delivered via electronic download with a print release.

This session requires a $200 session fee retainer at booking. This fee is not included in or applied to any digital images, prints, or products and is not applied to your final session balance. This fee is the cost for your scheduled session day/time and is non-refundable. This fee includes the photographer's skilled expertise, travel for outdoor locations, use of all props, editing & retouching, and convenient online ordering.

After your session takes place & you receive your final gallery, you will then choose your 15 digital images and order/pay for the final balance of this experience. No images will be delivered until the balance is paid. You can also purchase prints and products 'a la carte'.

You will have the option to upgrade your session to purchase more digital images on a USB (35 total, including the original amount included in your Experience), a 16x20 wall portrait, 4x6 printed proofs (35 total, including the original amount included in your Experience) in a photo box, and the coveted 10x10 coffee table book, for an additional $550.00.

If you wish to send me 'inspiration' photos, please be sure they are from my own website or my Facebook page and not Pinterest or from a web search. I prefer to photograph in my own style and cannot replicate certain poses or ideas.

Please note: no RAW or unedited images will be delivered in your final order. Only the included images in your session or additional purchased digital files will be delivered.

HELPFUL HINTS & FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

UPGRADES & EDITING

Minor retouching will be applied to gallery proofs, with full skin retouching completed on the images you choose to purchase. More advanced edits, such as brace removal or other detailed retouching requests, are available for an additional fee.

Because many senior sessions take place during the summer or late summer/early fall, please be mindful of tan lines. These can be challenging to edit, especially in certain areas. Wearing sunscreen and choosing outfits that help minimize or cover tan lines is highly recommended.

GIRLS....CLOTHES & MAKEUP

For a full senior experience, please bring 2–4 complete outfits to your session. Having a thoughtfully curated wardrobe allows us to coordinate looks across multiple locations and achieve a beautifully varied gallery. Don’t be afraid to dress up and accessorize — heels photograph wonderfully, and the right shoe can truly elevate an outfit. Camisoles or tank tops are helpful for quick changes on location, and a private changing tent will be provided for your comfort.

Makeup: when it comes to photography, less is more. If you don’t typically wear makeup, we recommend keeping your look soft and natural. You want your final images to reflect the very best version of you, not a look that feels unfamiliar. While I can enhance makeup slightly in post-processing, overly heavy makeup cannot be fully corrected.

Professional makeup is absolutely optional; however, clients who choose this service often find it makes a noticeable difference in their photos. For a beautifully natural, camera-ready look, I highly recommend Dana Michele Makeup & Aesthetic should you wish to explore that option.

GUYS CLOTHES

For a full senior experience, please bring a selection of your favorite jeans or pants paired with multiple tops—some casual and some more elevated. This variety allows us to create a well-rounded gallery that reflects both effortless and refined looks.

Be mindful of your footwear and socks, as they may be visible in seated, crouching, or bent-leg poses. If there’s anything that truly represents your style, feel free to bring it along. Personal items such as cars, sunglasses, musical instruments, or sports equipment can add a meaningful, authentic touch to your images.

LOCATIONS, PROPS & WHAT TO BRING ALONG

I offer a curated selection of locations and am happy to recommend settings that align beautifully with your vision. Feel free to share what you’re drawn to in your images, and I can provide examples to help us select the perfect locations together.

For those who have booked the full experience, most seniors choose one urban location paired with one park or nature-inspired setting. When selecting your two locations, please keep travel distance in mind. While I do allow a small buffer for wardrobe changes and transit, travel time between locations is included in your overall session time.

You’re welcome to bring along personal elements that reflect your style — your car, musical instruments, dance or sports gear, or even extra hats and sunglasses — to add a unique, personal touch to your images.

Please remember to bring a brush or comb for quick touch-ups, and feel free to pack anything else you think you may need. I’ll have a wagon on hand to help transport everything with ease.

YEARBOOK

All senior sessions include complimentary submission of your yearbook photo. To ensure everything meets your school’s specific requirements, please provide the following details prior to your session: background guidelines, preferred submission method (digital file or physical print), required image size, delivery destination, and the submission deadline.

If your school requires a neutral studio backdrop, please let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly and ensure a seamless experience.
