The Full 1st Birthday Experience with Leah Islinger Photography is a joyful way to celebrate your baby’s first year and this once-in-a-lifetime milestone. Available in Appleton & throughout the Fox Valley, WI, these sessions are designed to capture personality, connection, and all the sweet details that make this stage so special.

A full 1st birthday session takes place in the studio and allows plenty of time for your little one to explore, warm up, and take breaks as needed. Sessions are relaxed and baby-led, creating space for genuine smiles, movement, and natural moments.

I also share tips on what to wear, focusing on simple, cohesive outfits that keep the focus on your child. Every image is professionally edited with soft tones and a timeless finish.

THE FULL 1ST BIRTHDAY EXPERIENCE

The First Birthday session is a super fun way to celebrate your baby's big day! The session includes traditional photos of your new 1-year-old standing, playing with toys, sitting on chairs - all the things big kids do! Then it ends with a special first birthday cake smash! The smash cake is provided by me & I top it off with a cute cake topper. We follow up with a bubble bath for more fun photos, but most importantly,y to clean them up before their ride home! You will be presented with your final preview images in a private online gallery.

The Full 1st Birthday Experience has a non-refundable retainer to schedule your session. This session includes up to 1.5 hours in the studio, and this session may include 1 family & sibling pose. Includes up to 3 outfits (including cake smash outfit) and 5 backdrops.

After your session takes place, you will receive your preview images in a private online gallery. From there you have the choice of one of my 3 collections, and you can also purchase prints and products 'a la carte'.

This session requires a $100 session fee retainer at booking. This fee is not included in or applied to any digital images, prints, or products and is not applied to your final session purchase. This fee is the cost for your scheduled session day/time and is non-refundable. The Full 1st Birthday Experience

This session can include 1 family & sibling pose if you wish to add them to the start of your session. In this session, you may choose to use up to 3 outfits, and I will plan for roughly 5 backdrops.

You may request a theme for the cake smash setup that I will provide at my discretion.

Cakes are provided by Manderfields and frosted as 'naked cakes' only, to prevent choking.

This session includes traditional images, smash cake, and bath images. An optional balloon set before the cake can be added, upon request.

This session requires a session fee retainer at booking. This session fee retainer does not include any digital images, prints, or products & is not applied to your session order - it is the cost for your scheduled session day/time and is non-refundable. All purchases are made after you receive your final gallery.

While this session can include a family/sibling pose, I find the session moves much more easily if siblings do not stay for the remainder of the session.
