I don't often get to photograph twins so I was excited when Mark & Loius's mom booked me for their newborn session! Look at how sweet their big sister was with them - that was such a precious photo to get of the three of them together! These little guys were not identical as you can probably tell but they definitely had identical levels of cuteness :) I loved their little name plaques that mom wanted to use. 

When I have twins I hold the session the same as I would with a single baby but of course, I also get images of both babies together as well. Here, for the buckets, I had each baby in their own bucket - I first took images of baby #1, moved baby #2 in to get some images together, and then moved baby #1 out and took images of baby #2.

For this particular twin newborn session, I brought along another skilled newborn photographer friend to be my helper. Knowing they had a 2-year-old big sister as well I thought having an extra set of hands would be, well, handy! Having someone who knew exactly what I needed & when and knew how to spot one baby while I was busy with the other helped immensely.
